Mistakes happen in business. Sometimes they’re unavoidable.
What bothers me isn’t necessarily the mistake—it’s when someone doesn’t do what they promised, avoids taking responsibility, and then charges you more even though the job wasn’t done.
I can continue doing business with someone who simply says, “Hey, I blew it. Here’s how I’d like to make it right. Can we come to a mutual understanding?”
Admit it. Communicate. Make it right.
